When God is Silent

“O God, do not remain quiet; Do not be silent and, O God, do not be still.” Ps 83:1

There are times when it seems as though God is silent and we begin to wonder where God is…does He see us…does He care. When God’s silence is deafening, we can rest in the reality that God’s silence does not mean that God is absent, nor does His silence mean that He is inactive. He is with you…He sees you, and He is at work in your present circumstances.

When God Speaks

“Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; You will cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am ‘” Isaiah 58:9

One of the most mystifying truths for the Christian, is that the God of all creation speaks to us. His voice is clear…not audible, but very real. So, what happens when God speaks? How does He speak? What is it like? How do we know when it’s Him? Learn what the Bible means when it says “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”

When We Listen

“I will hear what God the LORD will say;For He will speak peace to His people” Psalm 85:8
“Whether it is pleasant or unpleasant, we will listen to the voice of the LORD our God to whom we are sending you, so that it may go well with us when we listen to the voice of the LORD our God.” Jeremiah 42:6

No matter what we are going through, there is great peace that comes to us when we hear the voice of God. But things really start happening when we choose to listen to what He is saying with a heart ready to follow His lead. When His sheep truly hear His voice, we follow Him.

A Tale of Two Mothers (Rebekah and Jochebed)

“Amram and Jochebed became the parents of Aaron, Moses, and their sister, Miriam” Numbers 26:59
“And when the time came to give birth, Rebekah discovered that she did indeed have twins! Isaac loved Esau because he enjoyed eating the wild game Esau brought home, but Rebekah loved Jacob.” Gen 25:24,28

“Mom” is not just a title, it’s an opportunity to leave a legacy of godly character and define our children’s moral compass. Discover how to evaluate your role as a mother in light of Scripture and challenge yourself to make a consistent eternal difference in the lives of your children.

No Greater Joy
“I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.” 3 John 1:4
Ah, the joys and heartaches of parenting! Some children walk right into adulthood loving and serving the Lord, yet others spend years wandering through life as a prodigal. This lesson will encourage you to understand a mother’s need to continually pray for both…never giving up on the prodigal…never neglecting to gird up the godly.

A Word Fitly Spoken (How to Win the Golden Spoon Award)

“A word fitly spoken and in due season is like apples of gold in settings of silver.” Proverbs 25:11 (Amplified)

Have you ever said something you wish you could take back? Have you ever been the recipient of someone else’s slip up? Let’s face it…taming the tongue is hard business. This fun yet serious session may just have you laughing and crying at the same time.

I Am With You

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 46:10

Life isn’t always like a day at the beach. We all face difficult circumstances. Some of them test our faith, others test our character. This lesson will give clear Biblical solutions to life’s clouded and complicated events.

4 Turning the Page

Turning the Page

“But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Phil 3:13-14

When pain is real and joy is elusive it’s sometimes easier to allow our past to define us. You may never be able to rip the page of abuse from your life, but it may be time to learn how to turn the page of your life and begin a new chapter by the grace of God.

Doing Doctrine

“…we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine…” Eph 4:14

Biblically accurate doctrine is absolutely necessary to develop spiritual maturity, to mount a formidable faith and to motivate biblical morality. Each comprehensive lesson sheds scriptural light on a variety topics to help solidify and/or clarify doctrinal beliefs.

Topics such as: Redemption, Regeneration, Reconciliation, Substitution, Sanctification, The Doctrine of Depravity & The Goodness of God’s Grace, Propitiation, Imputation and Justification.

God’s Call to All

“Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be). Matthew 28:18-20

As you have heard before, the Great Commission is not the Great Suggestion. It is God’s call to all. A challenging message to the body of Christ to see themselves as missionaries and look around in their own community for practical opportunities to make an eternal difference right where they are.

Missions Ministries in the Church

“But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (Amplified)

This is a great opportunity to get a detailed look at how each believer and each church can be missionaries in thier own Jerusalem and Judea, and how they can strategically, effectively and personally have a hands-on approach to aiding foreign missionaries reach their Samaria and the uttermost parts of the earth.

So You Want to be a Missionary

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58

How can I know if God is calling me to the mission field? How can I spiritually and emotionally prepare myself to become a missionary? What can I expect; what will I go through when I get there? For those who may possibly be sensing that God is calling you to a foreign field, this lesson will help you be prepared for the approaching uncertainties that are certain to come.
